AI Product Manager / Product Maker

Nick works around two product flywheels: Time to Insight and Time to Value. With HCI training in systematic user research, UI/UX, and prototyping, plus a broad understanding of technology, design, and business, he aims to reach key product insights faster. With an AI-native product mindset, he studies models, agents, and context mechanisms, then uses Coding Agents and rapid prototyping to turn insights into verifiable product value faster.

Independent AI Projects

2025/12 -- Present

  • EDF2.0: Built on Coding Agents, this work explores Spec-driven Development, Context Engineering, and AI-assisted product development workflows across PRDs, prototypes, frontend implementation, and project context management. The project uses a GitHub repo as the SSOT (Single Source of Truth) for multi-role collaboration, creating two-way links between design docs and code, and between market research and product features.
  • Other projects: Project showcase site in progress.

Mobvoi

2025/10 -- 2025/11 · Product Manager · Beijing IoT note-taking SaaS product: Participated in the design of a web-based note product for voice recorder hardware scenarios. The product uses a three-column structure: recordings on the left, recording/transcript content in the middle, and a Copilot Agent on the right that helps users generate, analyze, and organize content from context. The product explored Prompt Engineering and Skills mechanisms so the Agent could call built-in capabilities such as mind maps for structured output.

2023/09 -- 2024/03 · HCI Research / Product Manager Intern · Seattle Led 8 in-depth interviews and contextual walkthroughs, identifying the nonlinear workflow patterns of video creation: creators repeatedly iterate among scripts, assets, and editing, relying on immediate feedback to adjust ideas. Based on this HCI insight, Nick defined novice creators as the target users, proposed an “AI collaborative creation entry point” product positioning, and designed core features including storyboard generation, natural-language asset retrieval, and drag-to-assemble video creation.

IvorySquare

2023/06 -- 2023/09 · Product Manager Intern · Seattle Worked on an academic development planning platform for high school and undergraduate students. Combined user interviews, personas, and behavior path analysis to support product feature prioritization, while exploring a business model for lab RA recruiting.
